If there was one review of the Zune that I was waiting for, it was the PC Magazine review and now it’s out - at least a preview look version here on their website. It’s a good writeup and the findings are promising for the future of the Zune.

Here’s their “Bottom Line”:

This is the most promising iPod competitor we’ve ever seen from Microsoft and could be a digital music player that gives the whole industry a run for its money.

Here are the “Pros”

Great design. Easy-to use. Wireless capabilities work. Integration with software appears smooth.

and finally, here are the “Cons”

Small hard drive. Non-replaceable battery. No PlaysForSure support.
