It looks like some retailers just couldn’t wait until November 14th to start selling the Zune. The new player has shown up at several retailers across the country including a BestBuy store at Union City as noted by FLX-Tech which picked up a unit.

Unfortunately it looks like they’ve also having trouble installing the Zune on their Windows PC. They even posted their installation log file here. Aside from the error, you’ll also find plenty of pictures of the unboxing of the Zune here.

I’d be tempted to drive out to Union City but I think I can wait a day for the official launch of the player. I originally had the player on preoder at Amazon but I think they’ll be plenty on hand at my local BestBuy for me to purchase so I cancelled the preoder. Counting down…
