Expecting the Zune update sometime soon? Well you might have to wait a little bit longer. According to this News.com article, the next Zune update which was tentatively scheduled for mid-march will take a bit longer than expected. Microsoft has not given a time frame for when the update will be released but Marketing Director Jason Reindrop has been quoted as saying “it is very close to being ready.”

The next update will address a couple of issues - one of which was a skipping issue with songs downloaded from the Zune Marketplace.
