Ok folks.. now I’m annoyed. Does Target actually carry the new Red Zune or what? A few days back, the Microsoft Zune website showed a caption that the Red Zune was going to be available at both Amazon and Target. So I headed off to my local Target and decided to see for myself whether the Red Zune was in stock. Nope - not a single mention of the device. Not to mention there’s not a single mention of the device on Target’s website either (although it was only supposed to be in store availability). So, now if you go to Zune.net, you’ll notice the following banner:

Notice it only says Amazon.com ? What gives Microsoft? Did Target pull out at the last moment? What happened? Just in case you don’t believe me - here was the original banner from a few days ago:
