Ah.. the list of Windows Mobile devices I’ve used is rather extensive.. let’s see.
* I started with the original HP iPAQ
* Played with a Dell PocketPC for some time
* Had the first Motorola clamshell mobile phone (which was incredibly slow)
* Some other Windows smartphone.. which I can’t remember for the life of me now
* Finally the Palm Treo 700w (right before I switched to the iPhone)

Every so often I see a cool looking Windows Smartphone on Verizon or on AT&T and I think.. hmm should I? But the truth is.. I still can’t deal with the UI on Windows Mobile - no matter how much the vendors try and hide the UI. Maybe the new Sony Ericsson phone will change my mind on things. We’ll see.

yea, i did it right, and i took matt’s advice and changed it in all the controlsets and it still wont show. and the thing about it that pisses me off is that when my music shows up all fine and dandy in the zune sync program but is all effed up on the zune. im anal and it pisses me off. how to i fix that?

I just updated my Zune software and I absolutely HATE IT. How do I get my old zune software back?!?!? PLEASE HELP! I want it back desparately. Its so hard to use now.

ok… so im really getting irritated. I can’t seem to start my zune at all. I plug it in and I get this: “Microsoft Zune has encountered a problem and needs to close. Sorry for the inconveniece.” Anyone know what to do???

I dont understand where to go to get this hack to work, I get all the way until it says:

Search for â€œPortableDeviceNameSpaceâ€. This should be contained in the Vid_####&Pid_####\########_-_########_-_########_-_########\Device Parameters within the above â€¦\USB\ The ##â€™s listed here will be numbers and letters specific to your Zune

Could someone help me? Thanks

Why do I keep losing all my songs or video data when I try to sync something new to my Zune 30gb. Do I have to keep EVERYTHING on my PC library in order to keep it on my Zune? I don’t want to overload my PC with a bunch of stuff. I’d like to be able to just sync my songs/video/pics to the Zune, delete it, and keep going. But once I’ve removed it from the PC, if I sync anything new, the old stuff get deleted and I have to start all over again. What the hell am I doing wrong?

I would agree that Danger could be the beginnings of a more consumer focused strategy for mobile devices in the younger mindset.
